Kaigi 2017

KY Kaigi is a conference that aims to start the conversation on current events.  The term ‘Kaigi’ (会議), which is Japanese for 'conference', was chosen as the name for the event as we wanted to draw inspiration from the Japanese who are fearless and unstoppable in the world today. From trains that work on magnetic levitation to state-of-the-art telecommunication satellites to origami, the Japanese are truly at the forefront in our increasingly technologically dominated climate. Despite undergoing a period of economic stagnation, Japan still, in some regard, remains the global hub for innovation and invention.
