Are we living in a nation where parallelism exists between the rights of each gender? But, if there are distinctions, can we pin these on legislation or on a more engrained reason - cultural norms?

The age-old battle to end normalised gender inequity has been fought in all aspects – education, workforce, matrimonial cases, stigmatisation – and no gender has been left untouched in this quest.

Hitherto, progress has been made. However, as tides change, what should we shape our fight around? The search for equality or the seeking of equity?
The time has come for the youth of today to bring round-table discussions into black and white implementations.

The Social Policy Council invites you to join us on this journey in finding answers to the questions raised and to come up with the best solutions to be brought forward to the policy makers of the country.
We hold the future of Malaysia in our hands - the future for our boys and girls. So, what do we do with this power?
